Hey guys-
George Pratt showed us this old German magazine the other day that blew my mind!
The illustrations in it were way ahead of thier time, and mixed line quality and graphic shapes in a way that reminded me of Winsor McCay... times ten. Thought some of you might like to know about. The image above is from one of the artists- Heinrich Kley. I also found a website pertaining to his work.here's the link

also, if you look for the magazine online you can find PDFs of all the issues. I encourage those who are interested to take a gander. Some of this stuff was the inspiration for Fantasia.
